SATURDAY, 2 APRIL

Stellenbosch 1-1 Sekhukhune United  

Stellenbosch FC came from a goal down to draw 1-1 with Sekhukhune United in a DStv Premiership encounter at Dani Craven Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

The opening goal was scored by Justin Shonga, while the Stellenbosch equaliser came via Juan Ortiz.

The result means Stellenbosch sit fifth on the log with 33 points and Sekhukhune are eighth on 30 points.

TS Galaxy 1-4 Royal AM 

Royal AM comfortably thumped TS Galaxy 4-1 in their DStv Premiership encounter taking place at Mbombela Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

The Royal goals were scored by a Victor Letsoalo brace and goals by Ndumiso Mabena and Mfundo Thikazi, while the Galaxy goal came via Augustine Kwem.

The result sees Royal maintain their second place on the table with 40 points, while their opponents Galaxy are second bottom with 18 points.

Chippa United 1-3 Kaizer Chiefs – MATCH REPORT

Golden Arrows 3-2 SuperSport United  

Golden Arrows came from behind to secure a 3-2 victory after Supersport United saw two players red-carded during an eventful night at the Sugar Ray Xulu Stadium in Durban.

The two red cards came less than seven minutes apart midway through the second half, allowing Arrows to come from 1-2 down to snatch a 3-2 victory with two late goals against a Supersport side reduced to nine men.

The win sees coach Lehlohonolo Seema’s men move ahead of Supersport and up to seventh on the DSTV Premiership table.

SUNDAY, 3 APRIL

Cape Town City 5-1 Baroka

Cape Town City comprehensively thrashed DStv Premiership basement dwellers Baroka 5-1 at the Cape Town Stadium on Sunday.

The away side had taken a 35th minute lead through Dan Ndlovu but were reduced to ten men in first-half stoppage time as Tshepo Mokhabi saw red.

Khanyiso Mayo levelled for City on 50th minute ahead of a brace from Mduduzi Mdatsene (55′ P, 59′).

Mdantsane was then dismissed for the home team with 62 minutes played but there were still more goal to come with Craig Martin (88′) and Tashreeq Morris (90+2′) also both on target.

The result left Bakgaga in 16th place on the table with 17 points and the Citizens in fourth with 36 points from one less game.
