The Charity Book NPC Potjiekos Competition and Musical Afternoon

24th September @ 10:00 am 7:00 pm

The Charity Book NPC is hosting a Charity Potjiekos Fundraiser on Braai / Heritage day 24th September from 10h00 onwards This will be held at the Oude Molen Tavern – Eco Village in Pinelands. We have celebrity chefs Jenny Morris / Ray van der Zande & Scott Parker as judges – the competition runs from 10h00 until 13h00 when judging takes place!

Those taking part stand in line to win prizes by the Premier Hotel SA, Daddy’s Deals, product hampers, branded products as well as personalised cook books by the judges. There will be live music and entertainment. DJ Oscar keeping the vibes up. Comedian Carl Weber as Emcee and Host. Band is Perfect Fifth SA and we have some local singers including Ami Williams, Angelique Smith, Jenna Aspeling, Eugene Nel, Mo George & Henley Haas with them to vibe up the afternoon. All day entrants are treated to a live demo by the amazingly talented Jenny Morris the morning who brings along her own special joie de vivre – and attendees stand in line to win some lucky draws including a cook book by Chef Jenny Morris.

You can choose 3 ways to join, join the entrants in the cook off from 10h00, support those cooking and enjoy a free drink & snack on arrival, you can then also stay and be part of the musical afternoon.  Watch the contestants compete against each other and vying for the title of King or Queen of the Pot! The judging is at 13h00 and winners will be announced thereafter. Prizes are shown on Quicket on the event tabs.  Go to https://qkt.io/Potjiekos The afternoon session opens with the live band from 14h00 and continues until closure at around 19h00. Cash Bar available.
