The lights used for the festival displays are LEDs and are disruptive to nocturnal animals and large parts of the zoo will remain off-limits during the evening.   Visitors are welcome to bring picnic blankets and camp chairs. There is a selection of food stalls including the Sausage Saloon, Chip ‘n dip, Curry corner and Chic Inn, Fabulous foods with pregos, waffles and gourmet hot dogs and House of Chefs.   The STAGES Restaurant at the main entrance, opposite the Tree of lights lawn, offers sit-down options with a variety of soft drinks, wine, beer and cocktails.   Ticket prices are R165 for adults, R90 for pensioners and R85 for children 3-12 years. This is an offering for the whole family in a safe and enjoyable setting and we encourage visitors to purchase tickets upfront to secure access on a first-come basis.   Children under 3 years of age enter for free.
